One of my favorite feelings ever is jumping in the car before the sun rises and heading on a road trip.  We took a mini one this Saturday and headed to the island.  There's nothing like the anticipation of a good day especially by the sea.
 Of course no family trip is complete without Norman and Newman. 
And after a long and extended stay in Europe for work my partner is back! 
This trip reminded me to get up a little earlier and take some time to meditate and prepare for my day.  The tranquility of the morning air and the waves crashing are so inspiring and refreshing. 
You might recall Cristo de los Pescadores that I showed you before, but this time I discovered an anchor to add more meaning to my intentions of feeling more grounded.
