Chirashi bowls are my absolute favorite thing to order when I go out for Sushi. I savor every bite and B can tell you it's usually a quiet meal because it's so good! Going out to lunch or dinner when a craving hits, is not always an option so I make my own version at home. Smoked salmon layered on a bed of sushi rice and then topped off with a little avocado and freshly sliced tomatoes is my spin on this dish. I showed you this before here and added a little vino. But hey, it's not 5pm yet here in Texas! Now if I were a super good girl I would have used brown rice, maybe next time!

ReplyDeleteThis looks good, although I'm not a huge fish fan. I have never heard of this dish. Kevin loves sushi. I don't love it, but I have tried it. I usually get edamame and some tempura vegetables when we go for sushi. Kevin can eat his weight in sushi.
