It's hard to believe it's February when it's in the 70s and the palm trees are swaying here in South Texas. It definitely feels very carribbean around here, but since I can't quite enjoy those turquoise waters, I did the next best thing : a mani using Essie's Turquoise and Caicos.
It's a very fun color, and with all the pastels hitting the runway, it's an inexpensive way to get into that trend. You know I am a big fan of Essie's beach inspired hues as seen here and of their nice selection of summer shades as seen here. An since it's a holiday weekend and all, I thought I would channel a holiday state of mind with a little carribbean color.
How do you channel a holiday state of mind?
very pretty color, laura. even though i don't wear color these days (unless you count my lavender hair, ha) but milky aquas lift my spirits, especially now that i am no longer literally surrounded by my favorite "caribbean blue" oceanic hues.
ReplyDeletei suppose i get into that state of mind by using turquoise in my paintings.
I like that on you!
ReplyDeleteI am coming down there Sept 6 thru 9th to Padre. :)
I would buy that color in a heartbeat. Love it so much. I'm a fan of all shades of blue on my nails. It does look very tropical in your pictures. :)
