Genevieve Dupre is a San Francisco artist that my friend Janet has been raving about for years. Recently Janet had Genevieve convert one of her photographs from a trip to French Polynesia into a painting. As you can see, the results are beyond amazing.

Before settling down in San Francisco, Genevieve was raised in Rhode Island and the French Polynesian island of
Huahine. Apart from being a painter, she also works with other mediums such as ceramics, graphics and another beachy art Tahitian tattoos. You must check out
her portfolio, I was instantly transported to another world. Of course I love the island art but Genevieve does have a wide spectrum of work. Check out
her portfolio and tell me which one is your favorite. I promise you will want to take a look!
Its so real you can barley tell the difference :)
