I decided to take a little stroll in the woods and enjoy the fresh air before heading back down to Redlands. Living so close to the mountains allows for little trips to different climates and scenery.

Pairing mustard with olive green, feels very fall but with a little spice!
This past year gold accessories have ruled my universe but I am now shifting back to silver chains and allowing a few hints of gold, here and there.

It was a quick trip up to Big Bear, but it was so worth it. The fresh air and bird's eye view of the Inland Empire of SoCal is such a treat especially midweek. We did have some nail biter moments as we came down when the visibility was close to zero. Thank goodness I had my cameraman with me on this trip. :)

ReplyDeleteThe leaves are changing here too. I remember when my dad would go get my grandma from the nursing home to drive around and look at the leaves. It was one of her favorite things.
Everyone has allergies here this time of the year. I took so much allergy medicine I finally had to quit cause my ears wouldnt quit ringing.

ReplyDeletecurrently, i'm favoring mostly monochromes- all black...or black and white...or various greys. i think i overdosed on color when i lived in the tropics, and i've gone the other direction for now. somehow black and neutrals seem peaceful to me. however, in my paintings, i'm still favoring pops of soft turquoise with sand or stone colors.

Navy and Gray are ones I'm wearing, but I did spring for an orange cardigan last fall...a huge leap for me.
