¡Feliz Viernes! Let the good times roll right?! Well I don't think I am the first to do this but I wanted to share with you this collaboration between B and I. My friend Felicia gave me this beautiful glass bottle/vase for Christmas and I had it tucked it what we fondly call "the mess room." Well, recently I discovered that my beloved B had started depositing our "good times" in this bottle. I loved it! So he started this project without me and I had to beachify it a bit.
And as most beachonistas know a little jute, and a starfish or shell and voilá cheries! It is beachified! I love the idea of recycling these corks and in a way hanging on to some of our good times!
What good times do you have planned for the weekend?

ReplyDeleteMy jaw just dropped because I have something very similar! I made me and my boyfriend beach jars, I filled it with sand and shells and pebbles for a vacation we went on with my family. It was a very special vacation so we can both remember it! Your jar is so cute, I love the corks. And the starfish!!
ReplyDeleteAdorabale! I have been collecting wine corks to display in our bar area when we buy a house. Making something like this to display them would be great! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteNice transformation, love the beachified theme.
