Christmas came a little bit early for me. My dear friend Liberty Post sent me this wonderful gift: a new header!! If you have not met Liberty Post, you need to head over to her blog! Well dahlings, in one week I will be off to Texas and Oklahoma to meet B's family for the first time. I am so excited! I have never been to Oklahoma and I've spent a very brief amount of time in Texas, so it will be a whole new adventure. Norman and Newman will be spending the holidays in Las Vegas with their grandparents and cousins. I hope it goes well ( I'm kinda scared leaving them for a week, especially Newman!!)

So how was your weekend? On saturday B and I headed to Palm Springs and saw Up in the Air with George Clooney, it was a good movie but sad. Kind of a downer...so then we hit the mothership JCREW. OMG!! deals galore, every time I go to my fave shop I have to say they have weak sales like 10% off, but this weekend lots of goodies for up to 50% yippee~!

Busy week for me, finals, grading, packing etc. How about you?

How fun Laura! My sister lived in OKC for a bit the dirt is red and cool. She now lives in Texas. How long will you be gone? Safe travels.
ReplyDeleteThe pups should be fine. When we would go or had to leave Kelly at the vet- G slept in an old t-shirt and left it behind for her to sleep with. Someone told me it gave a sense of comfort and that you will be back. When we would have someone watch her- we made sure they had her on a leash at all times outdoors so she wouldn't panic and run. Even in the house if there was going to be a lot of activity of the door being open. If she tried to sneak out they could step on the leash. During the night she was leash free. Might be a good thing for Newman since he is new to the family and a different surroundings.
