It's been my lifelong dream to go to Europe (France in particular) to take in all the marvelous architecture.
In the meantime, I am lucky enough to live in California where there are so many beautiful architectural styles all over. Here in the land of Red, there are many Victorian houses along with Spanish style haciendas ( a post for another day). These pics are from a recent trip to Pasadena. These are little bits here and there of some of the building on Colorado Blvd.
Until the sealaura fund allows for European adventures, I am trying to enjoy the beauty here @home. So I encourage you to look around in your corner and see what bits and pieces you love about your region. Hasta pronto!

it's so nice to look around your neighborhood & realize, while it's not rome, paris or london, there's gorgeous architecture right across the street. beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteSweet Sealaura, thank you for all your thoughtful comments while I was under the weather and off blogging. It is so nice getting back into the swing of things and visiting all my blogging friends.
ReplyDeleteYour new boots so rock! Happy belated birthday, looks like you had a wonderful time, lovin' all the jewelery. But, you know what I love best? You take me down memory lane with all your trips around California! I love Pasadena and used to hang out at Rick's to hear great jazz and Hearst Castle, what can I say? I've been there so many times I think they should give me my own room! I would love to take a dip in the Neptune Pool.
Loving the architecture! Yes, I think we were separated at birth - we both seem to take very similar photos!!! Anytime you want to make a trip to FL with B and Norm, let me know! I would love to show you around and we could shoot lots of pics and maybe even drink a little vino ;) It takes about 4 hours to drive to Miami from my place but a quick flight that is less than 1 hour! Then the drive to the keys is another 4 hours or so - a trip I've yet to make!!
ReplyDeleteMeta xoxo
Pasadena looks heavenly! It looks a little Spanish influenced...? Hope you're having a lovely weekend!
