Yesterday I went to beauty school, kinda! For a long time I have admired that shimmery look for eye make up so when I heard about a collection called "Coastal Colors" I was completely enamored. The only problem was my lack of knowledge when it comes to makeup application. Luckily my friend Rachael was kind enough to show me the ropes, but I was scared!So I took my good friend Lexie with me and she helped me decipher all the makeup lingo. Trust me, I didn't even know how to hold the applicators properly.
I know that you probably can't tell from this pic but I was really pleased with the results. I prefer the natural look and the colors we picked were very subtle ( I actually was not brave enough for the coastal colors, baby steps right?) and hopefully I will remember how to put the stuff on. A moment of hilarity came when Lexie said "I did not know this about you, how you don't know know about makeup!" It was hysterical, as if it were my dirty little secret ha ha!

The makeup lesson and award from Gabbi, lifted my spirits yesterday because I was having a tough day. I was struggling with my move from the sealaura estate to the villa. It was a bit emotional for me yesterday, luckily the makeup lesson came at 2:30 pm, so I was able to shift gears and snap out of the melancholy.
