Faire la grasse matinée: to sleep in/ to lie in
For some reason this is one of my favorite french vocab words from high school. In this post Norman Alexander will demonstrate how it is done.
C'est n'est pas trés difficile mais voici les photos: Bien fait Norman!
Such a sweet boy. I adore his face...such happiness in it. Frasier is lying at my feet as I type this. He just popped his head up, as he doubtless knows I'm writing something dog-related.
ReplyDeletesleeping in style...with a friend. Does life get any better?
ReplyDeleteHey there, I love Normie's little bed. He looks so cozy with his ducky. We had a nice little visit with him yesterday. I forgot to tell you, he came up the stairs all by himself to see me and Baby C.
ReplyDeleteSweet photos... and the phrase is nice too... literally to make a fat morning! And to oversleep is funny too... "avoir une panne d'oreiller" - literally to have a breakdown of the pillow!
