Seventeen days away from Christmas and I am keeping an eye on inexpensive gifts so I can get everyone on my list.  Blanket Scarves are big this fall and I would not mind one under my tree, especially in a color that can carry over past the holiday season like the ASOS one above. 
I like this one myself because it has soft blues.  I can see it over a white coat.  I am really big on white clothing.  Winter whites with a splash of color and I am happy.
I also love this one and it is only $26 bucks!! It's plaid but the neutral color behind it makes it killer in my eyes.
 I chose a few blanket scarves for you to peruse and I stayed under $50 bucks because really, who has the money these days to spend more?  Let me know what you think!
