Have you made the official shift in your wardrobe for all things warm and cozy? One of my favorite pieces this fall is faux fur vests.  I love vests in general because the temperature in my classroom goes from super cold to heater overload.  I picked up this vest from my friend Alicia of Word of Alicia here.   It is the "Faux Sure Vest" by mark.  I was a little worried that I would look like a chihuahua with this thing on but I just love it and frankly even if I do look like a chihuahua I will be wearing this piece all winter long!  Not to mention I love chihuahuas, my boys are chihuahua hybrids, but I digress...I have worn  this vest over a gingham black shirt, a stripes nautical shirt and I really liked it.  Today's look is more for work.  My students teased me and asked if I had hunted the fur and I played along with them.  This look might not be for everybody but I love experimenting with fashion because fashion is FUN!

I also added this necklace for a little more glam, because: WHY not? Remember don't wait for  a "special" occasion to wear your best pieces, every day is an occasion!
