My new teaching gig has me taking part in some pedagogy classes for one month to freshen up my profesora skills. My assignment today is to teach a non-language class in 7 minutes. Thank goodness fellow blogger Candace Rose responded to my desperate tweet for help with a great idea. YES friendship bracelets!

Besides the fact that it is an inexpensive lesson, it's fun and perfect for summer. (For a quick basic tutorial click here) I do kind of feel like I am away at camp with this workshop so it seems especially fitting that friendship bracelets be my lesson. I can't wait to see what everyone else prepares because I could always learn something new.
Have you learned to do anything new recently?

Love those sea colors - can't wait to see the end results!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes,
Linda

ReplyDeleteCool idea! I'm learning quilting this summer. Fun!
ReplyDeleteWell, shoot, the tutorial link 'went dead'. You will have to tell us how your teaching turned out!
ReplyDeleteI am going to attempt to make bracelets this weekend. I want to make a "Dare To Care" for your skin bracelet with each bead representing skincare goals. What do you think? Corny or no?
ReplyDeleteWaiting for finished product as I love the colors you picked.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the bracelets...no have not learned anything new lately but cleaning up my horrific office got a little more to do to it.
ReplyDeletePlease share your creations with us! For some reason, when I try to post a comment with my google account, and I get the screen to sign in, it thinks I want to set up my own blog. My comment basically disappears and does not post. Sonya
ReplyDeletethe link doesn't seem to be working?
ReplyDeleteI'd love to share it on my weekend Tween posts!
