These images were captured by our Sports Division Director at sealaura. B goes on 20+ mile bike rides almost everyday (for fun!). Part of his coastal lifestyle is to incorporate the natural environment of our new home in his workout routines. I'll admit I have always been more of a gym girl and I am not as sporty as this guy, but his zest for embracing the world as our gym has really inspired me.
What about you, where do you like to work out and what do you do?
I am with B.
ReplyDeleteI worked out all the time when I lived in Georgia where I didnt have extreme weather and allergies. I dont work out now. :(
I belonged to gyms in Georgia as well but now I feel guilty going to the gym after work when my baby dogs have been couped up all day. I just go home instead.

great pics captured the "sports division director"!
ReplyDeletei crave the outdoors-as-gym lifestyle. it's a bit too hot here at the moment for much outdoor fitness stuff besides a.m. dog walks and swimming. i'm all about gym activities these days: yoga (but i love the idea of backyard yoga- when it cools off), pilates, spinning.
do you practice yoga, laura? what about yoga on the beach? (can't do it here due to heat, plus we have a wind/sand"storm" issue, haha!)
sometimes i wish i was a surfer...it's just not going to happen, though.
xo
Hi Sea Laura -
ReplyDeleteI love to ride my bike at night - when it's cool and quiet and not much traffic 'round the neighborhood -
Kayaking with my hubby - but we don't get to do that very often (schedules)
Then LA Fitness cuz of my knee!

Wow,that's some exercise. Again, beautiful shots, I love the water over the rocks, so peaceful.
ReplyDeleteI for one, get my exercise by cleaning my home, and taking extra long walks along the beach. Oh yea, and don't forget those trips to the mall, that's an all day event! :)

ReplyDeleteI'd love to ride the bike along an ocean path!!! Not possible where I currently live in RI. Then I seem to get a stiff neck too. Maybe there's a trick to biking right?!
