The Shell Shop in Morro Bay

I love framing my pictures with flowers like this one I took in Morro Bay in June.  With the end of summer, I am feeling a bit nostalgic so I wanted to share about a fun stop I made in Morro Bay : The Shell Shop.  Most beach towns have shell souvenirs but this shop is BEYOND your typical souvenir shop.

Can you imagine all the beachy projects that could be made from all of these goodies?
I hope you are enjoying this last day of summer.

A place I should not ever go to. I'm not sure I could decide.

this is all SO wonderful! the shell shop looks like a beach-lover's heaven! it reminds me of this huge shell store my dad used to take me to during summer vacations to pensacola, florida. i had no qualms about buying shellacked puffer fish (yuck!) but i managed to get plenty of lovely shells.

last day of summer...nah! well, i guess it depends on where one is located. it will be summer weather here for quite some time...i think. hope you're enjoying your labor day!

xoxo

I love Morro Bay! I vacationed there once, visiting friends, and I just loved it, such a beautiful place (and a really cool giant rock!). XX!

we used to have a shop like that on Redondo pier - sad to say I think it's gone. These pics are great - longing for it again... (-:

your first photo is gorgeous!

we spent our last day of summer playing in the ocean. went late in day when most sun-fried early goers were leaving. we had the beach to ourselves, and the beachside restuarant we frequent too! hope your long weekend was fun and relaxing too!
