¡Buenos dias! It has been a busy week here at sealaura industries. It seems like we have turned in to a little bit of a bed and breakfast. Our families have stopped by for little vacays here in Redlands, so we have been playing the role of tour guides. B and I have always had to relocate for schools and now for jobs, so our families are always excited to curious to see what our new towns look like. I have been in Redlands for about 6 years but my parents love to explore every nook and cranny. I guess that's where I get it from! Well as you can see from above, the boys have just "enjoyed" a bath, they get so stinky in the summer (don't tell them I said that!).

Having company has been awesome, but I am also looking forward to getting back to my blogeroo. There is so much I want to learn about computer design and art and so much I want to write about. Lately, I have tried playing around with a collage software called "Shape Collage" but in typical sealaura fashion, I have yet to read the directions, so I have just fiddled and come up with some basic collages, like the one above. Do you use any fun software for your pics? I like Flicker but for some reason, the collage feature does not work on my mac, so I have been looking for other options. Anyway, that's what I have been up to and you? Well I guess I will go check on your blogs and find out :) I am mega-behind on google reader, so off I go and I will see you tomorrow for Fresh Fridays!

ReplyDeleteI too want to learn so much....it's just so DARN time consuming!
I just purchased www.simpledaisy.com and tried for 4 hours to set up a website using a wordpress theme....couldn't figure it out:(
Anywho....please do share what you learn!
PS...I am doing a give-away on my blog...
so stop on by when you get a free moment:)!!!!!
Fun collage! I have not done anything with pictures..., but who knows.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to learn more too, but haven't had the time. I love the look of your blog though. You're just down the hill from us. Redlands is a nice town. We're up in the high desert. We grew up in South Bay, the Manhattan/Redondo Beach area.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Marcia
Cute!
ReplyDeleteI use Corel Paint Shop Pro, and still can't figure out layers and collages. I hope to figure it out soon, but like you, I'm not great at reading directions (prefer to wade through, as I learn best by doing, hands-on, that sort of thing).
I look forward to seeing what you come up with here!
