After months of researching and learning more than I ever wanted to know about the mattress industry we finally took the plunge. Excitement is an understatement for how I feel about the arrival of my I mean our bed! Most girls dream of their wedding day, I have been dreaming about my California King Bed all of my life!! I am so eager to finally create a beachy bedroom and I will be looking at all of your blogs for inspiration.

We decided on a sleigh bed similar to this one from Pottery Barn. When I am dreaming of the sea this sleigh will be just the right vehicle. I am beyond excited for the extra room, and hopefully more restful nights. In case you didn't notice (see 1st pic), the boys have taken over. I feel like a woman overboard clinging to the life raft every night. Cesar Millan would not be proud of this. As you can imagine, No sleep = cranky profesora.So now I am on the market for some KING bedding. I love this collection from Lilly P @ Garnet Hill. I think Erin over @ House of Turquoise would love this!

This Seashore Organic Duvet from Pottery Barn is nice too. I will have to keep an eye open for sales, because the best time to buy bedding is supposedly January. No matter, I am just happy that sleighs don't just come around in December!
