to summer!
don't worry dolls sealaura enterprises will still be around, we just have to switch gears.today is my first day of classes and profesora was up all night thinking of how she could start the semester off just right for all the new grasshoppers at the university. But first Norm and I had to officially say good bye to summer :(
No worries, it is still in the 90s in the land of Red. As I sit here finalizing the attendance policy on my syllabi I have one favor to ask:
please excuse my absence on your blogs. duty calls and I have to turn in my flip flops and focus a tad on work. Won't be gone too long, and I hope this won't affect my grade in the blogosphere :) !

ReplyDeleteIt's a state of mind, dear Laura. Carry it with you into the classroom... the students will love you for it.
ReplyDeleteHappy Day,
Julia
You have straight A's in my book Laura!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you have to say goodbye to summer, but happy for your students.
Lovely pics today, yesterday at the market and my favorites are from Norm's post! I love that you named your dog Norman, mine is Sheldon and he also loves the beach. Our beaches are not dog-friendly (those that are not good), so I know he misses California even more than I do!
Have a great semester!
i hope that things go well with teaching for you! i know it must take a lot of focus and patience to do what you do!
ReplyDeleteAh... we all understand. I take a hiatus about once every 4 months or so... I'm sure you'll knock out your lessons!
