Last night B and I went to a night class together. It was a wine tasting class at the University! I have always been a a fan of the whites, but since I met B I have been on a red quick. Last night was great because it introduced us to some new favorites. Here is my favorite of the evening: 1. Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc about $9bucks and fruity a close second was a New Zealand Marlborough wine. The other lesson I discovered is that some fancy pants wines taste like two buck chuck at Trader Joes ( not that that's a bad thing!, but why spend the extra cash?). Above is my friend Lexie and her fiancé Gabe enjoying the evening. If it weren't for Lexie I would have missed the boat on this university event. It is tough being a scholar isn't it?
It was a fun evening, especially because it was mellow and not pretentious at all. I loved watching watching people swishing their wine around to see it crawl...

That's cool. I can't remember having ever been to a wine tasting, odd given that there's a bunch of really nice vineyards around here. I love red wine (it's the healthiest drink in the world!)
