This AM while taking my Norman Alexander for his morning potty break, we found this pretty rose in the garden. I was quite amazed to see this beautiful rose and some of its other friends surviving out in my backyard. The truth is I don't have a green thumb, there I said it! This rose reminded me of that Poison song, you know the one, don't pretend. Anyway, I hope I am not the thorn for this poor little rose since it partially depends on me for its survival.

Most of my attempts with nature turn out like this! Still this pretty rose inspired me. I haven't killed everything on the sealaura estate, so there is still hope for me.
so you don't have a black thumb... just slightly charcoal perhaps?
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you mentioned that song. We actually heard it on the radio a few weeks ago and Daddy C and I were trying hard to remember the group. Poison, of course! Yes, I remember it well now. I can be at peace now that the mystery is solved.
ReplyDeleteThank you for that little flashback!
You know what? Every cowboy DOES sing a sad, sad song.
ReplyDeleteI'm REALLY enjoying these, amiga.
Yo, yo.
