Yesterday my dog Norman Alexander and his cousin Dutchess went on a family outing to Huntington Beach, CA. We went to "Dog Beach" where your animals can run all over the beach without a leash and enjoy the surf and sun. It was quite fun for the animals and for us as well, and they don't call this dog paradise for nothing! However just be ready for a little chaos (the good kind) because the animals are the main focus here and they usually have the time of their lives.

If you plan on visiting just know that you have to park in metered parking so bring lots of quarters. It can also be a little bit of a trek from your car to the actual beach. Therefore make sure your cooler has wheels and that you don't bring the whole house to the beach.
