I stepped outside to walk the boys and was greeted by a snowed on pair of flip flops. I've been told that it's been unusually cold here in Nashville and although the single digits have started to wear on me, I am much happier when the cold temps are accompanied by snow and double digits! I've also been inspired by a Winter Boho kind of vibe.

As I mentioned earlier this year, my boots are on their last legs, so thank goodness my beautiful Maylin UGGS arrive today! I fell in love with them because they look perfect for wanderlust adventures and also a little beach time.
Oh and they were on MEGA sale at Zappos and while yes, it is still a splurge, I am the kind of girl that takes care of her shoes and wears them for decades! I get most of my shoes resoled. One of the first things I do when I get to a new town, (and Lord knows we are in a new town almost every year) I look for a cobbler. But I digress....
On the list today is working on my grades and other fun or not so fun profesora things but at least I will be cozy and warm.

One of my favorite local businesses is a cobbler who works downtown here, and he's been in business for longer than I've been alive. He inherited the business from his dad, and we all hope his son continues the tradition.
