After a week of holiday relaxation it was time to get back to business.  I pulled out one of my LBDs and paired it with a white blazer for a little contrast.  I love it when I can put an outfit together quickly.  I think it helps that I have started to focus on simple pieces like a variety of shift dresses (as seen here) and also just adding a statement necklace and a comfortable shoe.  As you know, I am a profesora de español so I can play a bit with fashion but at the end of the day I still have to keep it professional.

As the semester comes to a close it gets harder to feel motivated so wearing something that makes you feel and look good is my way of motivating myself to stay on top of my game and not get sloppy when we are so close to the finish line.  B and I have also started working out in the early morning just to give us a little push and pep in our day.  It's not easy, especially when you are warm, cozy, and cuddled up with the canine travel team, but we are doing it.

Taupe booties, have been my go-to shoe this fall.  They are my version of heels because I need stability to teach español and take the canine travel team on their many walks.
How are you staying motivated during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season?
