¡Buenos dias! I don't usually post on Sundays, but I wanted to share with you some seasonal goodies. Aren't these eggplants gorgeous?
This is what my backyard looks like. Kind of... As you know I live near a whole lot of orange groves, Redlands is about one hour out of Los Angeles, and it is quite beautiful. These groves are right behind my complex.
If you are a regular reader, you might know B and I are regulars at the Farmer's Market, we have been to sooo many up and down the California Coast. And this one is one block from us and it's a nice little stop on the weekend. As busy as life gets, getting these veggies, feels good and wholesome. How could you not love eating such beautiful food?
What are you up to on Sundays?
Those groves are a wonderful view! It's cold and rainy this Sunday and I'm reading blogs or polishing silverware of course.

ReplyDeletewhen we lived on tortola, we took sunday drives around the island (there's not much else to do...as you know!) we'd stop at a beach or two along the way (of course we always brought doxy.)
now (depending on weather) we sometimes go to a museum or the beach on sunday. today we shopped and had sushi.

ReplyDeletesundays are straight up relaxing. go to the beach, go to a movie, lay around in our pjs... whatever we do it's mellow yellow!!

Our Sundays are stolen days--little capsules of no phones, no doorbells ringing, no appointments, no duties...just us and our coffees, newspapers, ball games, and Sunday Morning CBS...maybe an escape to the beach where we have absolutely no responsibilites :) Sundays are the best days of the year!

I LOVE the orange groves, palm trees and mountains!!! I grew up in Redlands and also, had the orange groves as my backyard! I now live just south of Cayucos which I LOVE as well, but miss Redlands very much!!
