For many years,
autumn meant going back to this lovely institution :
The University of Notre Dame. I had never lived anywhere where the leaves truly change and where there was enormous spirit in the air. Apart from going back to school, Autumn meant football season! No matter what kind of season, good, bad, dismal, it was always an amazing experience to go to these games.

This is the home of the
Fighting Irish. And across from this entrance we have what is lovingly referred to as
"Touchdown Jesus."

These are lovely photos and thoughts... but shouldn't you be grading? LOL. Just kidding. Love them!
ReplyDeleteInteresting take on the theme, sealaura. I also reminisced about places we'd been in the fall when I looked through my photographs for some on the theme.
ReplyDeleteI love the way this thematic photography, at first just a simple word or phrase, subjects itself to interpretation.
Great interpretation of our autumn theme. Nice photos.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have the East Coast type of Fall here either but there are some pretty spectacular trees around anyway.
