casitas from Pacific Grove, CA

Pacific Grove or "P.G." is a lovely beach town with the most adorable old Victorian houses dotting the city. It also is known for the Point Pinos Lighthouse, the oldest continuously-operating lighthouse on the West Coast (a possible future post I think).

After admiring a lot of Victorians we walked into a cute little neighborhood and were surprised by the shape and colors of these casitas.
You can barely get a glimpse in this shot but the backdrop to this blue house was the sweet blue sea.
I'm back in the land of Red after a whirlwind week of traveling up the coast and through the desert. I have so many posts brewing in my mind.  But my day job calls again and hopefully I can still cram in some sealaura time.  Thanks for coming along on our travels and for all your support with sealaura, I really appreciate it!

  2. oh wow, do i love these pretty houses! especially the purple one. i once painted a wall in our tortola apartment a similar hue. i used monica's apartment on "friends" as inspiration. sounds scary but it was quite a fun little abode when i got done with it! xo

My doggy's symptoms have not gone away so I have to pick up a steroid prescription for her tonight. She hates medicine. I think she is either allergic to the grass I planted or the pollen in the air.
    White Boxers are expensive. ;)
